O Christmas Tree

Jeff took the day off, and we had a very productive day. First, Jeff and Dallin put together the crib. Dallin was so excited to put it up for his baby sister. He kept on talking about how he can't wait to meet her. I hope he stays excited!

Then we went shopping and bought a Christmas tree that we decorated for our Family Home Evening tonight. Dallin loved putting decorations on the tree! He did a great job. There are a lot of ornaments in the same spot, but I think it looks good!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a great Thanksgiving. Jeff's sister and her family came to visit us from Iowa. On Thursday and Saturday Jeff's brother and his family came down to visit as well. Dallin loved getting to play with his cousins. I think dinner turned out pretty good besides the one pie Jeff blew up! And the weekend ended with a BYU win over Utah!!!! Couldn't have asked for a better ending.

Dallin and Daddy had a lot of fun playing with Uncle Scott's slot cars.

This is a really bad picture because my camera was acting up, but all 5 kids were on the slide in some sort of way. They were having so much fun!

I bought Dallin a white shirt and tie. I think he looks so handsome. Dallin was very excited to be like daddy!

Dallin getting ready for his sister

Dallin is getting pretty excited for his little sister, who will hopefully be here soon! I was going through some baby stuff tonight, and we found this bottle. He filled it with water and has been feeding Jed (his stuffed dog) since then. He also changes Jed's diapers and all kinds of stuff now. He will be a great big brother.

We have watched one of my friend's baby a couple of times. Dallin loves Kayla. He gets so excited when she comes over. I think he looks so cute playing with her!

Jungle Jamboree

For playgroup this past Friday, we went to this Jump Start Gymnastics. Dallin had a lot of fun. After jumping on the trampoline for awhile, he said, "mom, can you buy this for me to put in the backyard. It would be fun!" It made me laugh!

Daddy is lots of fun!

I'm finally getting around to post this, but a couple weeks ago Jeff took Dallin out to set off some rockets. Dallin thought it was a lot of fun to push the button. Then he would laugh really hard! Jeff also got in lots of exercise chasing after the rockets, and even had to run in the field!

Then one Sunday after church, Jeff and Dallin played for awhile in a fort reading lots of books! Dallin thought it was so much fun. Jeff is such a good daddy!

Fun in Iowa

Last week Jeff took Thursday and Friday off from work, and we drove to Iowa to visit his sister and her family. We had a lot of fun as usual. Dallin loved getting to play with his cousin, and we enjoyed hanging out with Jeanna and Ken. We had a lot of fun! Thanks for letting us come!

On Friday afternoon we took Dallin and Kendra to this fun place called Jumping Jim's. It is this big place full of the really big inflatable jumping toys. Jeff even got to join in on the fun in most of the toys. I was a little jealous, but didn't think I should be jumping too much with only 5 weeks left! There was this little girl that kept bugging Dallin and Kendra. They kept on trying to ditch her but didn't succeed. So she is in a lot of the pictures...

On Saturday morning before the BYU beatdown, Jeff and Ken went golfing. We decided to take the kids to the park since it was in the 70's!!!!

Trick or Treat!

We finally got around to decorating the pumpkin that Dallin picked out awhile ago. On Thursday Dallin painted his pumpkin. He spent a whole hour painting and loved every minute of it. He was very serious about how it looked. I think he did a great job!

Jeff and I didn't think Dallin would go very far trick or treating, but we were wrong. We took him out around 6, and he hit all the houses in our neighborhood that were giving out candy. He didn't want to stop, but we could tell he was getting tired. Towards the end I would have to hold his pumpkin until he got to the door, and he would just sit the pumpkin down until they finished putting the candy in it. Then he would run around going "Daddy I have so much candy!!!!" He really was the cutest when it came to trick or treating! I'm glad we took him.
