Dallin's 2nd Birthday!

Dallin celebrated his second birthday! We started the morning off by going to playgroup, where we went for a walk with all his friends. Here is a picture of Dallin and his friend Caleb running ahead of us :)

After his nap, Dallin's friends Caleb and Grant came over to play. They had fun playing with each other and eating cupcakes. He loves getting to play with his friends, and I think they wore out Jeff since he was pushing/pulling them the whole time.

Dallin's going to be a big brother!!!!!!!!

This is a picture of our 8 week ultrasound. The baby was measuring perfect and the heartbeat was 176. I am just a little over 12 weeks along now, and had another appointment today. They just listened to the baby and the heartbeat was 167, so still looking good. The due date is December 12th (exactly 2 1/2 years after Dallin's due date.) We are very excited to be expecting our next baby. I don't think Dallin really understands, but he asks me about 10 times a day if I have a baby in my tummy. I am hoping that the morning sickness stops sooner than the last one, but only time will tell :) Anyways, that's our big news here!!!

Goodbye and Hello!

This past week we got rid of two of our cars. We donated our Mazda and traded in our Buick. We were pretty sad to see the cars we have had for awhile go away...especially the Buick. Jeff has had the buick since he went to school, and all of our first dates and stuff were in that car.

This is the new car we bought...a Toyota Highlander. We really like our new car, and Dallin absolutely loves it.

Dallin's New Bed

Yesterday we went out and bought Dallin a big boy bed. He "helped" Jeff put it together, and slept in it last night. He actually did great in it. It took him awhile to fall asleep, but ever since we moved he takes a long time to fall asleep. He never got out once, and he didn't fall. Dallin did get up at 6 when Daddy was getting ready for work, so I went in there and slept with him until 8. He is napping right now, and it didn't take him that long to fall asleep so hopefully he will continue to do ok in it. I think he looks so cute and small in the big boy bed, and he loves it!

Our New Backyard

Jeff grilled some bbq chicken tonight. While he was outside, Dallin went out back to play with daddy. It was so cute seeing him run around the yard. He does like to wander into the neighbor's yard, but hopefully he will get over that.

Wildlife Prairie Park

Today we went to the Wildlife Prairie State park with a couple of Dallin's friends. It is kind of like a zoo, but their homes are more "natural." They had birds, foxes, bears, horses, a petting zoo, snakes ,and other animals. Dallin had a lot of fun, especially since he got to be outside.

Then they played on this train for awhile and had a blast!

Touch a Truck

For playgroup today, we went to the Touch a Truck event. The place had tons of trucks lined up for the kids to go sit in and "drive." Dallin was scared when we got there, and he wouldn't let me put him down at all. Then he started to get better, and he had a blast. About 15 minutes after we got there, a ton of preschool kids showed up so the lines got long. They drove me nuts because their leaders would just cut in front of me because they had so many...people that cut drive me insane, especially when I'm with an almost 2 year that I am making be patient and wait.

We waiting in line for like 15 minutes because dallin really wanted to ride this mini excavator, and then he freaked out because the guy in charge wanted to put him in it...not his mommy. So it was kind of a waste, but at least he stood in there long enough to get a picture.

Then we waited in line for awhile for this tractor thingy (i don't know what it was), and he thought it was so neat and did not want to leave. Look how big the tires are compared to DAllin :)
Then he got to "drive" a tow truck. He loved this one because he got to honk the loud horn. Afterwards, he kept screaming "beep beep!!!"
THen DAllin got to sit in a skid steer. He thought it was neat to push the one button.
And his favorite was the bus, probably because he could just run around on each one. There were three of them (2 school and 1 city). He probably spent a half hour going on and off each one over and over again. The people in charge were getting a kick out of how into the bus he was.
