More family

My dad, sister and brother came to visit us this last week. We had a lot of fun. We went to Six Flags on Wednesday, Jeff went golfing, the girls did some shopping and went to the parade of homes, lots of games were played, and the pool was out several times.

Doctors Appointment

The kids had doctor's appointments this morning. I did both at the same time since I had to bring both of them anyways. It was a very long hour +. Dallin was very wild but did pretty good with the doctor. Alyssa did fine until somebody else touched her. Dallin got 2 shots and Alyssa got 3. They are very healthy and happy kids!

Storms and Cars

So awhile back we had an FHE on what to do when a tornado comes. We told Dallin if the weather radio goes off and says a tornado is coming, we need to go into the basement. Now when any kind of storm comes, Dallin FREAKS out! He doesn't want any toys or people outside even if there is just a dark cloud outside. Well, he saw a dark cloud outside the other day and this is what he looks like.
When he isn't scared of the weather, he loves his new car. I found it at a garage sale for a couple of bucks yesterday, and he has pretty much been in the car all day! Don't you love what he picked out to wear after church???

New Bathtub

We bought Alyssa a new bath since she had grown out of hers. She loves it.

A fun visit!

My mom came to visit us the last couple of weeks. We mostly just played around the house, went to a few parks and went for some walks. It was a lot of fun. One day we went to the Children's Museum in Bloomington. After eating lunch we found this really big park there and had a lot of fun.

The stroller lasted maybe 5 minutes...

Dallin's Birthday

Dallin turned 3. He was so excited about his birthday this year. He woke up singing Happy Birthday to himself. He asked us all day if it was still his birthday. He was very cute...wild, but cute.

He got donuts for breakfast.

The only thing he wanted to do was go to Menards...his favorite store.

He loved opening his presents. He would guess what each thing was before he opened the present. He got a camera, a tent, sleeping bag, play doh toys, workbench, pool, helicopter thingy, a kit kat and some other stuff. He did pretty good considering all he wanted was a candy bar :)

He also enjoyed eating his Tow Mater cake that mommy and daddy made for him.

Our Memorial Day Weekend

This weekend we went to Jeff's sister's house for a baby blessing and to paint their house. It was a lot of fun. I think we were all worn out by the time we got home.

On Monday night we drove to Davenport to visit some of our friends we hadn't seen in 2 years!! We went out to Red Robin, and keeping 3 tired kids entertained was a little challenging. We had a really good time seeing them! Here is Dallin and their little boy Seth playing.
