Labor Day Weekend!

We went to Jeff's sister's house in Iowa this weekend. On Saturday Jeff and Ken rented a stump grinder and took care of 11 stumps. They were pretty tired. The kids played outside most of the time. They liked to take the jeep to the top of the driveway and coast down. Later that night we watched the BYU game!! Go COUGARS!!


After lunch we took the kids to Jumping Jim's, which is one of Dallin's favorite places to go. He loved jumping on all the inflatable toys. Alyssa even joined in for a little jumping and sliding.

Alyssa got lots of playing time in with her cousin Ella. They are so cute. Dallin loved playing with Kendra. They get along great, and they are fun to watch. Jeff and I loved just being with family and enjoying all the yummy food! We all had a blast!! So I guess I only took pictures of Alyssa...I guess I need to take more pictures of Dallin! He was always off running around...

Fun in the backyard!

We have been having fun playing in the backyard. Yesterday I let the kids go swimming. Dallin wanted to keep the pool out so Daddy could swim with him later. Well, we went out after dinner, and Dallin and the neighbors decided to jump in with their clothes on. Don't you just love Dallin's long sleeve's and pants? They were having fun until Dallin body slammed the neighbor...then it was time to go inside. They were a little wild!

Tonight we went outside and played after dinner. Dallin and Jeff played football, and Alyssa did her normal thing...playing on her blanket. We are just enjoying the last of the warmer weather before the cold comes....

Dallin LOVES to ride his bike now. He rides it around pretty much all day long.

Alyssa's favorite thing to do now is stand up! She stands up on pretty much everything in the house now. She even lets go, but she is not even close to being able to walk. She can now take a step or two along sturdy things.

She also decided she likes sweet potatoes. Even though I posted she liked prunes, she really didn't. She would eat a bite or two every now and then. The last 3 days she gone through ONE jar (the 2.5 oz size) of food total, which is a lot for her. She will only eat if I am standing up holding her, but at least it's progress!!

She still loves her bath.

More fun with the Denzers

This weekend our friends the Denzers came to visit us. We had a lot of fun. Seth and Dallin played pretty good together. They loved to make messes....

We ate some golden raspberries. I had never seen them before.

We have tried the last 2 times we were together to go to a baseball game. This time it started storming so we couldn't go. Instead we went to Toys R Us and let the kids go wild!

On Saturday morning we went and played frisbee golf. The kids played at the park most of the time.

It was very hot, so we got the pools out. The kids had a blast, especially Alyssa.

Now that Alyssa is crawling all over the place, she has been playing a lot more with Dallin. It is pretty fun to watch!

They LOVE to play trucks together. However, today they fought over the barn for like an hour while the played trucks.

Dallin always wants to include her, even though sometimes I don't think she really wants to be included!

Dallin can make her laugh harder than anyone else!

Dallin loves to build forts now.
