Dallin's nap adventure

Lately we have been having a hard time with Dallin taking his naps. Today I kept him in his crib for awhile. Finally I went in to get him, and I found him running around in his crib with no pants....and no diaper. He was so proud of himself, and was laughing while pointing to his diaper thrown across the room. Thank goodness there was nothing nasty in there. Hopefully this is just a one time deal...

Golf and Shoveling snow

We bought Dallin a little golf set from the store the other day thinking he would love it, and it was only $5. He does love it, but he loves swinging the clubs all over the place. You just have to be careful where you stand when he has a club:)

It has been pretty warm lately, but last night we got a couple of inches of snow. A couple weeks ago we bought Dallin a shovel, so he went out to "help" Daddy shovel some of the snow before church.

Dallin's new truck pajamas!

We bought Dallin some new pajamas the other day because he is growing out of his old ones. He is now in 24 month pjs. Anyways, we bought him some truck ones that he LOVES. He really hates when we take them off. He wore them for 2 days straight (we were staying in the house anyways so I didn't care.) He wants to wear them every night.

We were supposed to go to an outdoor animal place the other day with some friends, but it started to rain when we were about to leave. We were going to have a picnic there, so we just had one inside on a blanket. I think Dallin looks so grown up eating his sandwich.

Jeff made us popcorn the other night. It was the first time Dallin has had popcorn, and he loved it. He thought it was so fun to watch it pop!!

Cupcakes please!

I told Dallin to go pick out what he wanted for snack the other night, and this is the face he gave me. Daddy ended up eating half of his cupcake because he "thought" Dallin was done.

Before we could leave for playgroup this Friday, Dallin had to be wearing Daddy's CAT hat. When he was eating his snack later that night, he had to wear it again.

We also let Dallin have an oreo this past week. He was a big fan. Those are so messy with kids.

Our Sick Boy

Yesterday Dallin was a little sick. If anyone knows Dallin at all, he is a very active little kid that never stops. Anyways, yesterday he just wanted to be held most of the time or to lay on his dog. He then threw up on Jeff a couple of times and had a fever. He is feeling better today and back to his normal self. Dallin even fell asleep on JEff's lap last night. I hate when he is sick, but I like getting to hold him. Here are a few pictures I took of him. Doesn't he have such a sad face :(

Haircut

We finally bought some nicer clippers, so we cut Dallin's hair last night. They were not nearly as loud, so Dallin did a lot better. He only cried a little when Jeff was by his ear. We let him eat some M&M's too, which might have helped a little :)

He didn't want to smile for us at first, but we kind of got one at the end.

Fun Day with Kendra and Jeanna

Jeff's sister Jeanna came to visit us for a couple of days. She has a 4 year old daughter named Kendra that Dallin loves to play with. They got here on Sunday night and left this morning, so it was a short but fun trip (at least for me and Dallin:)) On Monday morning, we started off with a trip to Toys-r-us. The kids played with the train table for an extremely long time, and then made their way to the cars and bikes.

For lunch we went to the mall and ate some pretzels from Auntie Anne's. Then we took the kids to Build-a-bear. Dallin made a dog that we named Jed. He now has to carry it around at all times with his other dog. They have such cute animals and clothes there.

Even though it was cold and windy, we took the kids to the park to play with the bubbles. We didn't stay very long because it was freezing, but I think the kids had a lot of fun. Then Jeanna and I drove around to look at some of the homes in Peoria.

For dinner we ate Papa Johns, which was delicious! The kids played for awhile and then off to bed. We were all exhausted by then. Dallin slept in our room so that Jeanna and Kendra could sleep in his room. In the middle of the night he ended up in our bed. Here he is on MY side of the bed. He sure was a tired boy, but had a lot of fun.
