Halloween!

We had a long and fun Halloween weekend. On Friday morning, we went to the playgroup Halloween party. Dallin had fun running around with his friends and eating some treats. Alyssa enjoyed playing with toys. This year Dallin dressed up as Woody! He was so cute, and he LOVED his costume.
Alyssa wore her Halloween shirt for the party.
Dallin was so tired he fell asleep in the car on the way to get pizza. He woke up really early asking if it was time for playgroup. He was so excited to wear his costume.
Then off to the ward Halloween party. Here is a picture when we got there. The neighbor Crew wanted to be in all the pictures :)! Alyssa was a very cute sunflower!
Dallin won a cupcake in the cupcake walk. Alyssa wanted in on the treat.
When I turned my head for a second, Dallin tried to share the frosting with Alyssa. She liked it.
First they had a bunch of carnival games. Dallin's favorite (which he did like 15 times) was the fishing game.

He also liked to throw the ball through the holes.
Alyssa just wanted to walk around the whole time and check out what was happening. I was very impressed she kept her costume on the whole time.
After we got home and put on some pajamas, the kids went through all the candy.
On Saturday night, we carved our pumpkins. Dallin painted his pumpkin!
Jeff working on his pumpkin.
Dallin got to carve a little on the back of daddy's pumpkin.
He wasn't really a fan of reaching into the pumpkin.
Alyssa just rolled her pumpkin around on the floor and chased it.
Then she "helped" mom!
The finished products...Jeff's is the scary face, Dallin's is the painted pumpkin, mine is the spiderweb, and Alyssa's is the small pumpkin.
Then Dallin did a little trick or treating with the neighbors. They had a blast. It was kind of cold, and Alyssa only enjoyed it for so long.
Dallin got a lot of candy for just our street.
Alyssa didn't really want anymore pictures taken when we got home, but I had to get one more in her cute costume.

Weight Check

Alyssa had her weight check today. She weighed 16 pounds 15 ounces, which is 11 ounces in a month. I only saw the nurse, and the doctor never called so they can't be that concerned. I just have small kids. Alyssa and Dallin got their flu shots today. Neither one of them cried, so it wasn't too bad. The nurse was shocked, but I was happy:)

Monkey, Ice Cream, House, and Tunnels

This past Friday I took the kids to the bike park with some friends from like 10-12. When we got home, Dallin walked around the house to the backyard with the neighbors. They all played outside until almost 6! He came inside to use the bathroom and that was it! He loved every minute of it. The boys decided it would be fun to all get some old costumes on. They were being little monkeys climbing on everything and talking like a monkey:)

This past Sunday we took the kids for a walk along the trail by our house. At the end (well, where we stopped at least) there is a big tunnel. Both kids loved it! Alyssa laughed through the whole thing, and Dallin loved running/walking through it!
Dallin and Alyssa think it's so much fun to play with daddy's drum stuff.
Dallin decided to make some of the cabinets his truck. He plays in there A LOT!
I took the kids to Hobby Lobby yesterday. Dallin loved to look at all the Halloween and Christmas stuff. Since Dallin was so good, and I had a coupon, he got to pick something out. He picked a house that you build and decorate. He has spent several hours coloring and playing with it.
For our Family Home Evening dessert, we went to Cold Stone. Dallin told me it was the best part of his day:) Alyssa enjoyed getting a little ice cream too :)

Miniature Golf!

We did this thing with Dallin where he got a bean for good things he did like being nice to his sister, sharing, cleaning his room, and being good at church. We got to take beans out if he didn't do good things. Well, he finally filled up his whole jar, so Dallin got to decide what to do. He choose miniature golf. He had a blast. He is much better than before :)

Alyssa was pretty bored the whole time. At the end we let her play with a club for a few minutes, and she cheered right up!
After we played, Jeff and Dallin did the dune buggys. Dallin thought it was REALLy bumpy, but he loved it. However, I'm pretty sure Daddy had more fun driving:)

Spaghetti

As most of you know, Alyssa doesn't like real food. She is slowly starting to like food, but only what we eat. She still refuses baby food. Basically she will eat almost anything if it comes off of my plate, and I am eating it. She knows if I try to trick her too. She watches to make sure everyone else is eating the same thing. She still doesn't eat a lot, but she is getting better... The other night we had spaghetti, and she LOVEd it. She ate a lot of it. She normally only eats it once and then doesn't want it anymore, but maybe she will still like it next time. After she ate the spaghetti, she ate a some of a roll. In the video she was a little confused that Jeff had the camera, but you can still get a glimpse of what she is like when she actually eats. She demands more, and then is very approving of every bite. She is a very loud eater.
