For Thanksgiving this year we went to Jeff's sister's house in Iowa. Jeff's brother and his family came also, so there were 6 adults and 8 kids :) The kids LOVED playing with their cousins, and we loved visiting with the family.
My wonderful sisters in law did all the cooking for Thanksgiving so I didn't have to do any cooking, which I'm not gonna lie...was the greatest break. The dinner was excellent and here are the kids enjoying a piece of pie.

It was warm enough for the kids to play outside on their awesome playground. It was too cold for me, but the kids didn't seem to mind the weather at all. They were just so excited to play outside.

Then they played follow the leader with Dallin leading them all. He enjoyed that.
Then they got out the bounce house. All the kids played on it for hours. They were sooo excited.

I love how the pic of your kids at the table makes it look like Dallin's willing to smile...but not willing to take his eyes off the bowl of mashed potatoes. Reminds me of the Petersen kids fighting over who got the mashed potatoes first after Dad finished prayer - I think Jeff may have given the potato bowl a few looks like that. :)
Miss you guys already - but it's nice that it won't be long til we see you again!
Looks like you guys had lots of fun! I bet they loved that bounce house. Sam would have had a blast on that.
